PHOTO GALLERY: Columbus, Ohio Adventure (3/17 to 3/18/13)
The entrance to the Short North arts district in Columbus.
Caitlyn and I traveled to Columbus, Ohio last weekend. We felt the old blog posts on Columbus didn’t do it justice, primarily because we didn’t have a ton of good pics. So enjoy this bonus photo gallery on the Buckeye state’s capital city!
Next post: Eat it (occasionally)
The exterior of the Book Loft.
The entrance to the Book Loft, a book store with 32 rooms, each one containing books from a particular genre (i.e., desserts, romance, travel, etc.).
One of the 32 rooms in the Book Loft. This one focused on desserts. Yum!
Caitlyn and I made shelves out of old books at the Ohio State University Urban Arts Space. Thankfully, it was free; Caitlyn’s clearly the crafty one in this relationship!

The view from our room at the Sheraton-Capitol Square. It’s a nice view, but a bit of a walk to all the action.

One of the best public food markets in the midwest, North Market has something for everyone.
No matter what time of the day on a weekend, North Market is always busy with foodies!
The Square Meal dish from the Northstar Cafe in the Short North arts district: Beans, avocado, cheese, tortilla strips and other tasty ingredients.
The Northstar Cafe, in the “Short North” arts district, is unusual in that diners can browse magazines for free while chowing down.
We were in a bit of a hurry and, after getting foiled twice for lunch downtown, thankfully, Jimmy John’s was nearby.
