Top 10 Top 10 Vacation Lists

335026_10102424832942164_1757337107_oIt seems these days that everyone has a Top 10 list. Half of my Twitter feed is made up of “Ten places to visit before your die” or “10 tricks to writing a stellar press release.” All I see are lists, but how can I be expected to keep track of all these lists? Also, if I actually used them, I’d probably never vacation anywhere because every city only seems good for one thing (i.e., families or budget-conscious travelers) or good for one thing (romance) but bad for another (traffic congestion … have you been in the mood after having spent two hours in gridlock?). To help whittle down all those lists, here’s a cheat sheet with links to ten useful Top 10 (OK, some are Top 15 or 25) lists for planning your vacation:

Best downtowns

Best “unplugged” vacations

Best beaches

Best Museums in U.S.
